I first met Patrick Luaula, AKA Patrick Jarckaway, working as a car guard off Kloofnek near Rafiki’s a few months ago. After getting to know him during brief walks for lunch, I learnt Patrick could rap. The trouble is, he has very little chance to make connections in the industry – especially if he doesn’t have the tools and knows very little english.
So I thought, “F#%K it, I can help this dude out”.
I got together with Paul Ward (under the name Vangers & Jollers) and made Patrick a quick video in hope to get his face and voice out there. It aims to give him as much exposure as possible while showing off his talents. Hopefully something comes of it.
